Malwarebytes Anti-Malware system scan
1. Go to the official Malwarebytes antivirus website and click “Free Download”.
2. Run the downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installer and click the “Install” button.
3. From the device types, select the “Personal” category and click the “Next” button.
4. A suggestion to install the “Browser Guard” extension will appear. Click the “Skip this for now” button.
5. Wait for the application installation process to complete, it may take some time.
6. Click “Open Malwarebytes” button to make the application interface appear on the screen.
7. In the upper right corner, tap the gear icon to open the app settings.
8. Open the “Security” section and enable the “Scan for rootkits” option.
9. Click the “Scan” button and wait for it to complete. It may take some time.
10. If the application finds threats, add them to quarantine. Reboot the device.
