Configuring Norton 360

Adding the game to Norton 360 exclusions

1. Launch the Norton 360 application. In the “Device Protection” section, click the “Open” button.

2. A new window will appear. In the upper right corner of this window, click the “Settings” button.

3. A new “Settings” window will appear. Open the “Antivirus” category.

4. From the top, open the “Scans and Risks” section. Scroll to the bottom of this section. Click the “Configure” button, which is located to the right of the “Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, Script Control, Behavioral Protection and Download Intelligence Detections” option.

5. A new window will appear again. Click the “Add Folders” button on the bottom left.

6. The “Add Item” window appears. Click the folder icon on the right side of the screen.

7. A selection window will appear. Search for and select the “EXBO” folder, then press the “OK” button. By standard, folder with the STALCRAFT game is located at the following paths depending on your platform:

  • EXBO platform: «C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\EXBO»;
  • Steam platform: «Steam\steamapps\common\STALCRAFT»;
  • VK Play platform: «VK Play\Stalcraft»;
  • 4Game platform: «Games\Stalcraft».

8. Click “OK” button to close the window and add the game folder to the exclusion list.

9. Click the “Apply” button and then click “OK” to apply the changes to the exclusion section.

10. In the “Virus Protection” section, click the “Apply” button to save the section settings.

11. The STALCRAFT game folder was added to the exclusion list and will not be scanned by the application.


Disabling Norton 360 protection

1. Launch the Norton 360 application. In the “Device Protection” section, click the “Open” button.

2. A new window will appear. In the upper right corner of this window, click the “Settings” button.

3. A new “Settings” window will appear. Open the “Antivirus” category.

4. Move the slider of the “Network Drive Protection” setting to “Off” position.

5. Move the sliders of the other protection parameters to the “Off” position.

6. At the very bottom, click the “Apply” button to save the partition settings.

7. Click the “More Options” button and select the “Until system restart” option.

8. Click the “More Options” button again and select the “Until system reboot” option.

9. The Norton 360 application protection will be completely disabled until the device is rebooted.


Uninstalling Norton 360 application

1. Go to the official Norton Remove and Reinstall application website to download it.

2. Launch the Norton Remove and Reinstall application. Read the agreement and click “Agree”.

3. Click the “Advanced Options” button in the lower right corner.

4. Click the “Remove Only” button to start the Norton 360 application uninstallation process.

5. A confirmation window will appear. Click the “Remove” button to start the uninstallation process.

6. Wait for the Norton 360 application uninstallation process to complete, it will take a few minutes.

7. Reboot the device. After that, Norton 360 application will be uninstalled.
