In honor of Halloween, a temporary game mode "Dead Man's Marathon" has been added to the game. The mode is available from October 25 to November 15.
"Dead Man's Marathon" — a team-based PvPvE mode, in which players participating in the show are divided into squads of 3 people and use obtained equipment. The participants of the show are called Runners, their mission is to fulfill a number of tasks and evacuate from the island "Boral". They will have to face zombies and converts, who only want to eat brains. The converted are also played by the participants, whose main task is to kill Runners. The converts are chosen randomly at the beginning of the show.
Participation in the "Dead Man's Marathon" is available to players permanently in the format of a session mode on a separate location.
You can get to the event via the ESC menu.
One show lasts 20 minutes, during this time a number of key events take place at "Boral".

Any show starts with the landing of the contestants. Each squad is given a choice of 2 positions to start the race. The contestants choose their most preferred point. The point with the most votes becomes the squad's starting position.
Runner is an ordinary person who decided to take part in the show.
In order to complete the objectives you need to find gear, Runners can obtain it through the following activities:
Throughout Boral Island, you can find special cases that contain useful equipment.
The cases are divided into 3 types:

Every 10 minutes of the show, 3 airdrops with advanced gear are dropped. You can try to get it if you are not afraid to die.
There are many events on the island, by completing them you can get equipment.

In the Dead Man's Marathon show, all weapons have one advanced module that changes their characteristics. You can tell which module is installed on a weapon by reading the name or description of the module in the characteristics.
The main task is a quest with several goals, which is given at the beginning of the show to a group of runners. They need to complete the objectives to get a bonus to the total number of views at the end of the show. Also when completing the main objective, evacuation from the island is allowed. Events and marks that need to be completed are colored in orange.

When runner dies, he enters the spectator mode to watch his squad members. Thirty seconds after death, he is revived in his starting gear at the nearest Trading Terminal.
If the entire squad dies, the players are eliminated from the show.
Evacuation is a special event that gives a bonus to the total number of Views and allows you to leave the show. Evacuation becomes available after completing the Main Task or after 15 minutes of the show.
Evacuation takes place at special locations.
To evacuate, runners must come to the evacuation point and call the helicopter, then they must wait for its arrival. When the helicopter lands, they should enter it and after a while it will fly away, evacuating the runners.
While the evacuation is in progress, the event marker is visible to everyone in the show.
During the show, the runner receives views, a currency that can be used in Trading Terminal to buy equipment. In addition, at the end of the session, all views gained, even spent and lost views, are converted to Battle Pass points at a special rate. However, if a runner gets killed by a converted, he loses 20% of his views.
The number of views is displayed next to the mini-map.

There are new events on the show, which were never seen in the zone before. The events are designed for a squad of players. To get an event, you need to interact with a payphone.
Only 1 new event can be performed by a squad at a time.

Converts are a subtype of the smarter and stronger zombified individuals.
Converts have special abilities that allow them to live without additional equipment. Each convert shares same active abilities.
Every 5 minutes of the show, converts gain a random passive ability.

Highlighting the Runners
Starting at minute 8 of the show, the Converted sees the positions of the Runners on the map.
A convert can infect a locked crate of gear or airdrop. When a runner opens an infected crate of gear or airdrop, its position on the map will be visible to the converted for 2 minutes.
The converted receives views for infecting crates and airdrops.
Converts can break the Trading Terminal for a certain amount of time to prevent runners from reviving near it.
The convert receives views for breaking the Trading Terminal.
When a convert dies, he is revived far from his place of death. The Teleport ability has a timer that limits its use.

Battle Pass points are converted from all of the player's earned views, including those spent or lost. During the show, the player may receive bonuses that increase the total number of views earned.

There is also a daily bonus of Battle Pass points that you get for the first few games. The bonus is updated every day.
