To join the faction, you had to earn level 7 of the Bar Pervomaisky, which forced the player to focus on completing side quests or ones in the main storyline.
The player also had to complete tasks to join factions, which provided a not-usually-interesting game experience. To complete the tasks, coming to the faction bases without save points was required.
The faction joining task appears immediately after the main story is completed.
Instead of the usual joining quest, one remains to describe the faction to the player.
After completing the storyline, you will receive a faction recruitment notification.
Below are examples of notifications for Stalkers and Bandits, in accordance.
After completing the storyline, the player will receive a notification on their PDA prompting them to contact a faction recruiter NPC. He will tell the player about a preferred faction.
After that, the player will choose between factions (Rise or Frontier for Stalkers, Covenant or Mercenaries for Bandits).
Then the player goes to the faction recruiters in the corridors under the Bar and decides who to approach and where to join.
The recruiters themselves have moved from the Drunken Geiger Bar to the Pervomaisky Factory Bar. Now they sit near the entrances to the faction bases.
Mercenaries recruiter – Grey
Covenant recruiter – Perst
Rise recruiter – Sozonka
Frontier recruiter – Willlow
As part of the dialogue with the recruiter, the player goes through an easy mini-game, the “aptitude test”.
You don't have to join a faction immediately, you can ask its representatives about it first!
Also note: if you were previously in a hostile faction, you will have to pay a penalty!
After being recruited into a faction, the player can go to the base of the chosen faction, where he gets the main North story quest.
