Safes is a new mechanic added on the 4th of December 2024. There are 6 types of safes on the map, each opened only with a special key. In them, you can find valuable loot, including:

  • Old and new junk;
  • Consumables;
  • Crafting items;
  • Barter resources, including anomalous serum (details below).

Location of safes

Safes are only found in the northern locations:

  • Mines

  • Inflow

  • Black Detour

  • Reflection

  • Forge-11

  • Stillwaters

Keys and safes

All keys and safes are divided into 6 types:

  • Factory

  • Medical

  • Military

  • Scientific

  • ZIVCAS

  • Murmur

But where to find these keys? They can be looted from people's spots in the open world at any location in the North, except for Serpentine, Institute, Barrier and Temple Swamp

Warning!
Keys drop off when the player dies, so store them carefully. However, you can protect your keys from dropping out by placing them in a key holder.

Key holder

The key holder is a new item that can be crafted in the hideout. Keys placed in it do not fall out on death.

The features of key holder crafting:

  1. Each key holder is created from the previous version, except for the first one.
  2. It is not possible to create several key holders of the same type at the same time.

There are 4 versions:

1. Small key holder — can store 1 key.

Resources:

  • 2 Fabrics;
  • Sewing Kit.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Engineering skill;
  • Tool Cart.

2. Key holder — can store 2 keys.

Resources:

  • 3 Carbon Fibers;
  • Small key holder.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Engineering skill;
  • Tool Cart;
  • Screwdrivers and pliers set.

3. Large key holder — can store 3 keys.

Resources:

  • 3 Steels;
  • 3 Aluminums;
  • Key holder.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Engineering skill;
  • Welding Equipment.

4. Special key holder — can store 4 keys.

Resources:

  • 3 Strong Steels;
  • 3 Milling Cutters;
  • Large key holder.

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Engineering skill;
  • Welding Equipment.

Loot in safes

In the safes you can find:

  • Old junk and new junk


New junk sale prices

  • Consumables

  • Crafting items and hideout extensions

  • Barter resources, including anomalous serum!

Anomalous serum has been spotted in the Murmur safes.

Warning:

  • Loot in safes is different for each player.
  • The appropriate key is required to open the safe.
  • Once opened, the safe becomes inaccessible until the eruption. Loot is refreshed after the eruption.
