I got the Blue Screen of Death

What is the Blue Screen of Death?

Blue Screen of Death is a Windows OS response to a critical error occurred while your computer was running.

Many different situations can cause this problem, from program incompatibility to processor overheating, and there are many ways to resolve it.

What do I do?

This error screen displays a special code that helps identify what problem occurred. It may look like a set of numbers and letters (0x0000000F) or a combination of different words in uppercase, often connected by underscores (SPIN_LOCK_ALREADY_OWNED).

You should enter the code in the search bar of your browser and look for individual instructions on how to resolve the problem.

You may also see a QR code on the error screen. Scan the code with your cell phone, and you will be taken to the official Microsoft website, where you can find instructions for resolving the problem.
